Bagasse is the fibrous parts of the sugar cane that is left after the sweet juice of the cane has been pressed out. It is a renewable resource that creates a soft but strong paper.This box is refillable. Buy a refill bundle of 200 and refill the box twice.SAPPI sources from local suppliers, many of whom are previously disadvantaged small sugarcane growers. This socially responsible practice also avoids the greenhouse emissions of long-distance transport. Unlike wood fibre, bagasse does not need to be chipped so this process is energy-efficient.
