The Alpine Ventilation range of sub floor vent kits is an easy and low cost DIY way to remove moisture from under your house. There is a 150mm and a higher capacity 200mm version. Each consists of an axial fan with power cord, aluminium exterior vent with neck adapter, ducting, timer and clamps, duct tape and hanging tape – everything that should be required for most installations. The kits can be extended with the use of Y pieces and additional lengths of ducting. The fan can draw in dry air from outside and force out the moist air through other vents – or it can be reversed to extract the moist air and have dry air from outside replace it via other vents in the sub floor.
