Description ERA: 1930s or 1940s (when Singer sewing machine chain stitch was used). SIZE: Approximately 14-16 but could possibly fit size 12 and size 18. COLOUR: Elegant, subtle Mint with a slight sheen. CONDITION: Excellent. No tags. COMPOSITION: A quality fabric in satin or silk. FEATURES: Back yoke and front panels look almost look quilted but are actually decorated with chain stitch from a Singer sewing machine LOOKS GOOD WITH: A vintage nighty and rollers! A bed jacket was essential packing for a hospital case until the late 1960s or beyond. Or add some glamour to an evening ensemble, wedding night boudoir or (dare I say it)...glory box.
