Description ERA: Probably 1970s, when lead-free pewter was introduced. BRAND: The stamp on the base states " KIRRA PEWTER LEAD FREE| PEWTER PRODUCTS P/L | MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA". CONDITION: Good vintage condition and shines up beautifully with Brasso (don't use silver polish). Some dents on the base, which straighten with pushing. COMPOSITION: Lead-free pewter for base and top. FEATURES: Dimple pattern around centre third of tankard. It's lead-free so safe for drinking. LOOKS GOOD WITH: A vintage bar; a celebratory tray for special occasions (birthday, graduation, Christmas, New Year's Eve); a goth or Halloween tableau or display.
