Intelligent energy management for maximum independence With the Solis S6 15kW hybrid inverter, you can intelligently manage your energy flows between your solar panels, battery storage, and home grid. During the day, excess solar power is stored in the Pylontech Force H3 battery storage system with a capacity of 15,36 kWh. In the evenings and at night, you can use this stored energy and reduce your grid consumption to a minimum. This allows you to increase your self-consumption to up to 80% and sustainably lower your electricity costs. The Solis S6 impresses with four independent MPP trackers, guaranteeing optimal yield even on complex roofs with varying orientations or shading. Emergency power supply in case of power outage In the event of a power outage, the system automatically switches to emergency power within just 10 milliseconds. A separate backup connection allows you to continue supplying essential appliances such as refrigerators, heating, routers, and lighting with power from your battery storage. This ensures you remain operational even during extended power outages. Yes, the system is ideally suited for retrofitting existing PV systems. The Solis S6 hybrid inverter has four MPP trackers with a maximum DC power of 22.5000 Wp – enough for approximately 36-40 solar modules of 400-500 W each. You can therefore install the system as a complete system with new modules or upgrade your existing system with it. How exactly does the emergency power supply work? In the event of a power outage, the Solis S6 automatically switches to island mode within just 10 milliseconds. Predefined circuits continue to be supplied with energy from the battery storage via the separate backup connection. Important: This is a manual backup solution – the corresponding circuit must be configured separately during installation. You can use it to protect appliances such as your refrigerator, heating controls, and lighting. How long will the storage last during a power outage? That depends on your consumption. With an average consumption of 500W (e.g., refrigerator, LED lighting, router, heating control), the 10,24 kWh storage capacity is sufficient for approximately 27-30 hours. With higher consumption, the duration will be correspondingly shorter. During the day, the solar system recharges the storage – this allows you to bridge even longer power outages. Can I expand the storage later? Yes, the Pylontech Force H3 has a modular design. You can add up to 4 additional battery modules of 5,12 kWh each, expanding the capacity to up to 35,84 kWh. Expansion is achieved by simply stacking the modules – communication is handled centrally via the BMS. Expansion must be carried out by a qualified electrician and reported to the grid operator. Why 4 MPP trackers? With four independent MPP trackers, you can distribute your solar panels across up to four differently oriented roof surfaces or with different tilt angles. Each tracker optimizes its group of modules independently – ideal for east-west facing roofs, complex roof shapes, or partial shading.
