GENUINE 1980s PRE-LOVED Velvet and Satin Gown – AURÉLIE

Description   ERA: 1980s. SIZE: 8. Measurements on the label are Bust/ Waist/ Hips (cm): 75/ 55/ 80. BRAND: Aurélie. COLOUR: Deep Midnight bodice and skirt, which look black unless in sunlight. The bodice and skirt have matching shades so the dress looks more elegant in person (in the photos, the skirt part inaccurately looks much lighter). CONDITION: Excellent condition. The velvet does not have the customary nicks of a garment this age. We have mended the hem of the tulle underskirt, which may have dragged a little if worn by a shorter person. COMPOSITION: The label states "100% Polyester| 100% Polyester Micro Velvet| Lining: 1oo% Polyester". MADE IN: Australia. FEATURES - VELVET BODICE: Beautiful sculpting of the sweetheart neckline; gathered sleeves. FEATURES - TWO LONG UNDERSKIRTS: The top one is black tulle with satin upper; the bottom one is a satin slip; they provide structure and prevent cling. The dramatic bodice and elegant skirt create mystery. LOOKS GOOD WITH: Elbow-length, black, satin gloves; a 1950s or 1960s updo with ringlets (to show off the stunning neckline). Think Audrey Hepburn so maybe even a tiara or matching, wide diamanté choker and bracelet...or real diamonds! CODE: F-R.
