Maximum storage capacity for maximum independence The high-performance 20,48 kWh battery storage system offers the maximum capacity of the Sofar BTS system. This allows you to cover a large portion of your electricity needs with stored solar power, even during peak evening and nighttime consumption. This configuration enables exceptionally high self-sufficiency and minimizes grid reliance. Emergency power supply for critical consumers In the event of a power outage, the system automatically switches to emergency power and supplies a separate circuit with energy from the battery storage. You decide which devices are important to you and should continue to be powered during a power outage. The large storage capacity allows even more extensive emergency power circuits to be reliably supplied. You will need approximately 100 m² of free roof space for the 48 solar panels. Ideally, the panels should face south, southwest, or southeast. East-west facing roofs are also possible, but will result in lower yields. Flat roofs with appropriate mounting systems are also suitable for commercial buildings. How does the emergency power function work? The Sofar hybrid inverter features an emergency power function. In the event of a power outage, the system automatically switches to island mode and supplies a separate emergency power circuit with energy from the battery storage. This emergency power circuit must be configured separately during installation. With its large storage capacity of 20,48 kWh, even larger electrical circuits can be supplied for extended periods.
